Aberystwyth is surrounded by a beautiful environment. Nestled between the Cambrian Mountains and Cardigan Bay, our location provides a rugged landscape of rolling hills, valleys, sand, and sea. Even the famous national parks, of Snowdonia and Pembrokeshire, sit a short distance north and south of Aberystwyth, respectively, too. Our location is ideal if you’re interested in outdoor pursuits. Our welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant student town is a safe environment in which to socialise.
Aberystwyth University campus has everything that you need on your doorstep, including the most important services and facilities gathered together at the centre of campus. The campus is also within walking-distance of town and the famous Aberystwyth seafront.
Our campus is home to our accommodation, restaurants and cafes, the Students' Union, teaching and studying facilities including two libraries and the National Library of Wales (a copyright library) adjacent to campus.
