Our summer courses are complimented by a lively Social Programme, giving you the opportunity to meet students from other courses, explore the local area and further afield and practice your English in a wide variety of situations.

Summer English and Communicative Skills Course

Develop your language and communication skills in a friendly, cosmopolitan environment, and explore a beautiful part of Britain. The emphasis on this course is very much on communication and fun - classes are lively, creative and interactive. Open to individuals or groups.

Experience university life in Britain and improve your English with a course combining intensive English language study, workshops, seminars and fieldtrips led by various university departments and a full social programme. For high school students aged 16 -18. Group bookings only.

Prepare for your undergraduate or postgraduate degree a with an intensive Pre-sessional Course designed to enhance your English and prepare you for the academic tasks and situations you will encounter on your undergraduate or postgraduate degree.  Open to students who hold an undergraduate or postgraduate offer from Aberystwyth University.

Tailor-made Courses

We frequently create tailor-made courses for groups, often in collaboration with other academic departments in the University.  Recent examples have included English with Sports Science, English for Medicine, Environmental Science with English and English for Water Conservation.
