How to pay for your course?
You must enrol and pay in advance online at learnwelsh.cymru - you will have to login to your current Learn Welsh account, or create a new
account by using your email address. Should you not wish to register on-line by using your email, you can request a hard copy of the enrolment form. This year, you must pay for the whole year at the start (no term-by-term payment). If you are unable to pay the annual fee at once, you can ask our Learn Welsh Team for special terms.
Concessionary Fees
Courses are free to:
- 18 to 25 year olds
- all teachers, head teachers and teaching assistants working in Wales
- Aberystwyth University staff (please complete this form).
A 40% discount is available to:
- Pensioners who claim pension credit
- Full time students
- Those on benefits (e.g. Housing Benefit, Universal Credit, Income Support, Child Tax Credit, Disability Benefit (based on income), Employment Support Allowance (based on income), Job Seekers Allowance (based on income), Carers.
To claim these concessionary rates please contact us (evidence of eligibility must be provided).
Multi course discount
Should you wish to attend more than one weekly course, you can claim a 50% discount on the
second and third courses etc. To claim this
discount please contact our Learn Welsh Team.
Refund Policy
Should we cancel a class, a full refund will be given. If you do not attend the first class, 80% of the fee will be refunded. If you stop attending a class during the first 4 weeks, 50% of the course fee will be refunded. If you decide to pull out of the course after the first 4 weeks, no refund will be given.

WJEC Exam details
2023 exam dates are noted below. For the first time since Covid 19, we hope to run full face-to-face full examinations in 2023. However, we reserve the right to arrange online-only speaking tests should the situation change.
