Ecology
The Lifelong Learning Department at Aberystwyth University offers a wide range of courses in the subject area of Ecology. From Animal and Plant Diversity to modules on Fungi and Birds, we are sure you will find an interesting topic to study.
You can study individual modules, or you can work towards a Certificate in Higher Education in Field Ecology and then, if you wish, a Diploma.
Our courses are delivered in 3 different formats:
Self-paced online learning; delivered through Blackboard, our online teaching environment.
Face-to-face learning at various ecology venues across Wales.
Blended learning; a mix of the two, where you study a number of self-paced, online units before attending 1 or 2 days in-person teaching at an ecology venue in Wales.
Whichever way you choose to study with us, we will make sure that you receive plenty of support and guidance so you can make the most of your learning experience. All our modules are university accredited and our tutors have extensive experience of delivering adult education.
